Local playback and optional cloud features
Orki Music Player plays local audio and video. Local playback does not require a Google account or uploading your media. Google Drive backup and restore is optional.
- Media/Storage Access: Device permissions let the Application read local media for playback and library management, read selected supported audio for a confirmed backup, and save restored files.
- Google Drive: After you connect and authorize an account, the Application reads account details, storage quota and authorized file information. Audio transfers begin only after you confirm your selection. Your device connects directly to Google over HTTPS; ByteSailor does not receive or store audio or Google account details on its own servers through this feature.
Your controls
Your data-protection rights, including those under Brazil’s LGPD where applicable, apply to the processing described in this policy and the Application’s policy.
- Manage each location: Device settings control local permissions and Application records; Google Drive manages cloud files, and Google Account connections manages access. Disconnecting, revoking access or uninstalling does not delete completed cloud backups or public downloaded files.
- Children: Our Services are not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required by applicable local law.
Data protection
We use reasonable safeguards and do not sell personal information. Google user data is not used for advertising, marketing or AI training. Diagnostics, support and third-party processing are described separately; local playback does not mean all Application data stays on the device.

Orki Music Player feedback
If you send feedback, we process your message, selected photos or videos, optional contact details, basic app and device information, an authentication ID and, when available, an Analytics ID to help relate the issue to app activity. Diagnostic logs are included only if you select them. Feedback is stored in private Firebase buckets in the United States, separately from personal Google Drive.
Completed feedback has no fixed automatic expiry and is kept for support and investigating issues, with periodic reviews of whether it is still needed. We periodically remove failed, incomplete or invalid uploads. Deleted objects have a 7-day recovery period. Other service records and support copies are managed separately. See the application privacy explanation (English). For deletion requests, email support@bytesailor.com with your feedback reference. Uninstalling does not delete submitted feedback.

This Privacy Policy explains how ByteSailor (Shenzhen Shuji Technology Co., Ltd.) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our websites, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
For Orki Music Player, the application-specific privacy policy linked above explains its data processing in detail and controls for that Application if a general statement here differs. General sharing and retention provisions do not expand the permitted uses of Google user data.
2. Data we collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Support communications (e.g., emails you send to support@bytesailor.com).
- Feedback and other content you choose to submit to us.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Device and app information (such as device model, OS version, app version, language/region settings).
- Diagnostics and performance data (such as crash logs and basic performance metrics) to help us improve reliability.
- Approximate location inferred from IP address for security, fraud prevention, and localization.
2.3 App permissions and local files
Local-media permissions support playback and library management. Orki Music Player also offers optional Google Drive backup and restore: supported MP3 audio with embedded tags, artwork and lyrics, Application song-edit information and separate custom JPEG cover attachments. Playlists, favorites, playback history and manually added lyrics are not backed up. Only drive.file is requested; authorized external MP3 files are read-only, and only Application-created backups can be updated or deleted.
3. How we use data
- Provide and maintain the Services, including troubleshooting and customer support.
- Improve app stability, performance, and user experience (for example, by fixing crashes).
- Protect against fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Comply with applicable laws and enforce our terms.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No security method is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing of your personal information. You may also have a right to data portability.

8. Children
Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the age required by local law), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided us personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
9. International transfers
We may process information in countries other than where you live. When we transfer personal information internationally, we take steps designed to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place as required by applicable law.
10. Retention
Retention depends on the data and its purpose. Drive backups and public restored files remain until managed or deleted separately. Connection caches, task records and file associations may remain after disconnection. Task-owned temporary files are cleaned up after success or explicit cancellation; paused or retryable tasks may retain recovery files. Clearing Android app data removes local records and also resets other settings and media-library data. Diagnostics and support information follow their own purposes and applicable service settings; no single 24-month period applies to all data.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the effective date above, and for material changes we may provide additional notice (such as in-app notice or on our website).
